Last Wednesday, I decided to take a few days away from social media to get into God's face while intensifying my seek.
It was such a struggle NOT to log on to see what everyone was up to and to check on virtual assistant team to make sure everything was in order.
As the days went by, the easier it was NOT to put the link into my browser to log into facebook.
I wanted to share a few things that God revealed to me while in my quiet devotional time with him.
During my prayer time with God, He pointed out a few words and areas in my life that resonated with my soul. Words that I have always struggled with and have tried to improve for years.
Hearing these words gave me both confirmation and conviction all at once. It allowed me to understand that there is a time and place for everything. That time for change was now. I can not go into 2014 with the same mindset. I had to be renewed, revived, restored which only happen through the meditation of his word and a deeper level of prayer/worship.
These few words that stuck out to me were:
Consistency
Stability
and
Distraction Free.
Can you see how this could have shocked me to hear the same word and/or areas that I have struggled with for so long be confirmed by my FATHER in heaven? Wow!

Matthew 6: 7-8 : 7 “Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.
Take some alone time with God and ask him to shield light on the areas that you want to see improvement and where you want to grow consistent in. He will surely help guide you on the right path.
